Full Description

Post-medieval mine shaft located east of Middleton. The area is predominantly mined for lead. The mining activity is predominantly characterised by a series of roughly circular spoil heaps associated with mine shafts. The feature was first identified during a LiDAR survey which was carried out in 2015. (1)
