Full Description

Evidence of post-medieval mining characteried by remains of a roughly circular spoil heap associated with mine shafts. The feature is located to the south of Steeple Grange Light Railway and east of Middleton. The feature was identified during a LiDAR survey carried out in 2015. (1)
