Full Description

Evidence of Post-Medieval mining characterised by a cluster of overlapping circular features which are remnants of spoil heaps associated with mine shafts. The feature is located south-east of Alderwasley and west of the River Derwent. The feature was identified as earthworks during a LiDAR survey carried out in 2015. (1)
