Thurlowbooth Cottages, off B5035, Crich, a late 19th century terrace. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 35 SW 3/42 PARISH OF CRICH WHATSTANDWELL Thurlowbooth Cottages 15-3-82 II A stepped terrace of eight cottages now four with two cottages to each step. Late C19. Of coursed gritstone blocks, with ashlar dressings, end and intermediate ridge chimneys and welsh slated roofs. Each cottage formerly a single bay, two storey unit, with stacked two-light flush mullioned windows, and a flanking doorway with massive surround and a planked door. Some cottages have been combined into two-bay units, and two doorways have been blocked to form additional window openings. Listing NGR: SK3402453699.' (1)
