Cloister, No. 2 Chevin Road, Belper, a late 18th or early 19th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'CHEVIN ROAD 1. 5167 (East Side) Milford No 2 (Cloister) SK 3445 5/167 II 2. Late C18/early C19. Forms rear wing of 3 storey coursed stone terrace Nos 1 to 5 (consec) Chevin Alley (qv). Slate roof. Three windows irregularly placed, generally modern glazing in earlier sash spaces. Door with cambered head lining. Included for group value and as an integral part of terrace. Early example of sloping roof. Listing NGR: SK3498245158.' (1)
