From the National Heritage List for England:
'BROOKSIDE 1. 5167 (West side ) No 53 SK 3447 SE 1/87 (Belle Acre) II 2. Earlier C19. A large house. Rendered facade. Tiled roof with coped gable ends and kneelers. Southern facade of 2 storeys. Four windows, sashes with glazing bars.
