From the National Heritage List for England: 'FARNAH GREEN 1. 5167 (West Side) Drinking Trough at foot of hill SK 34 NW 7/219 II 2. Early C19 or earlier origin. Plain stone trough set in recess in field wall for animals about to ascend steep hill. Listing NGR: SK3368647582.' (1)
