Full Description

Redhill Farm, former outbuildings to Redhill Farm, Makeney Road, Belper, probably an early 19th century range. From the National Heritage List for England: 'MAKENEY ROAD 1. 5167 (East Side) Range of farm buildings to east of Redhill Farmhouse SK 55k4 6/214 II GV 2. Early C19 range of farmbuildings. Coursed stone, slates. L-shaped with short gabled wing abutting south end of rectangular north/south part. Two segmental arches in north elevation probably originally cart sheds. Stables and cowsheds behind with loft above. Rectangular vents. An interesting example of a multi-functional Strutt building. Listing NGR: SK3529944311.' (1)
