Duffield North Bridge, Derby Road, Duffield, built c1839. From the Naitonal Heritage List for England: 'SK 34 SW PARISH OF DUFFIELD DERBY ROAD 3/6 Duffield North Bridge (British Rail) II Road bridge over railway. c1839. Red brick faced in sandstone ashlar and rock faced sandstone. Three elliptical arches. Rock faced piers with pilaster strips continuing above. Impost band. The voussoirs of the arches treated as channelled masonry filling the spandrels. Stepped stone band at the base of the shallow coped parapet. End piers. The bridge is on the main Midland Railway line. Listing NGR: SK3445244192.' (1)
