No. 1 High Street, Belper, an early 19th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'HIGH STREET 1. 5167 (North-West Side) No 1 SK 3547 3/41 26.1.77. II GV 2 Early C19. The end of a block of tall terraced houses at the junction of 3 streets. No 1 closes the north side of the market place area. Main facade on High Street ashlar with slate roof. Three storeys. Two windows all sashes with glazing bars. Centre 6 panel door with stone lintel. South-western end elevation has double span roof. End wall rendered with white roughcast. Irregular rear elevation to Church Street. Listing NGR: SK3507247550.' (1)
