Former cart shed north of war memorial, Hopping Hill, Belper, an early 19th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'HOPPING HILL 1. 5167 (South-West Side) Milford Cartshed (to north of War Memorial Derby Road) SK 3545 5/184 GV II 20 Early C19. Coursed stone former cart shed with slate roof. Open front faces north-west and has cast iron stanchion supporting roof. Interesting association with dwellings typical of Strutt and of period. Listing NGR: SK3506645386.' (1)
