Full Description

A Grade II listed early 18th century fishing pavilion, recently restored. The pavilion is a small, square, two-storeyed ashlar building with restored sash windows in moulded architraves; an entrance in moulded architrave with a slight cornice; an engraved inscription 'Piscatoribus sacrum'; coved stone eaves and a conical old stone-tiled roof. Lately restored, This building appears to be a near-replica of the more celebrated fishing pavilion of Walton and Cotton in Beresford Dale. (1)
