Full Description

A Grade II listed structure of uncertain function, possible a fire appliance store, located to the south-west of The Cottage and Weaver Cottage on North Street [SMR29757]. Dated to the late 18th or early 19th century (it is shown on the 1841 Tithe Map). Built of roughly coursed rubble with a double-thickness, gently sloping slab roof, it is small and square in plan, with a single opening originally firmly secured with bolted door. (1)
