Belstone Cottage, No. 150 The Hill, Cromford, possibly a late 17th centur building. From the National Heritage List for England: '1. CROMFORD HILL 1390 CROMFORD No. 150 (Belstone Cottage) SK 2856/2956 1/134 II GV 2. House. Possibly late-C17, altered in C1919 and C20. Coursed rubble; tiled roof. Lobby entry 3-room plan; the building was originally a farmhouse and pre-dates the Arkwright houses nearby. Irregular 3-window range with 3 ridge stacks. All except one ground-floor window with stone surrounds. C20 casements. Doorway with large lintel, the half-glazed door with pegged surround. No original windows appear to the rear.
