Nos. 8-12, No. 12a and No. 14 Well Lane, Belper, a late 18th or early 19th century terrace. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 3445 5/200 5167 WELL LANE (West Side), Nos 8 to 12 (consec) 12A and No 14 II GV Late C18/early C19. A terrace of modest 2 storey coursed stone houses, probably built by Strutts. Hipped old slate roof overall, brick stacks. Two windows each except No 8 which has one to Well Lane and another at side. Generally sashes or iron casements. Facade of No 11 now rendered. No 12a modern glazing in earlier sash spaces. Stone garden wall on eastern street boundary contains recess for pump.
