Toll Bar Cowshed, Aldwark Road, Brassington, a late 18th century building. Included in the Peak Park Farmsteads Survey. (1-4) From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 25 SW BRASSINGTON ALDWARK ROAD 1/17 (North Side) Toll Bar Cowshed GV II Cowshed, formerly tollgate cottage. Late C18. Limestone rubble, part rendered with gritstone dressings. Plain tile roof. Stone coped gables with kneelers. Long low single storey building. South elevation has off-centre doorcase with flat stone hood on single stone bracket. Two chamfered mullion windows, one 3-light, one 2-light and one single light window.
