No. 41 Town Street, The Forge, Duffield, an early 19th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 34 43 PARISH OF DUFFIELD TOWN STREET 7/36 (East Side) No 41 The Forge GV II Toll house, now a private house. Early C19. Coursed squared gritstone with gritstone dressings. Plain tile roof with stone coped gable to south. A brick ridge and gable stack. Two storeys. West elevation of three bays. Off-centre doorway with stone lintel and raised and fielded panelled door, flanked on each side by glazing bar sashes with stone lintels, jambs and sill. To the left, a canted bay window with flat roof and small pane glazing. First floor has two glazing bar sashes in stone surrounds. Listing NGR: SK3451543265.' (1)
