Nos. 5-8 The Scotches, Belper, a late 18th to early 19th century terrace. From the National Heritage List for England: 'THE SCOTCHES 1. 5167 Nos 5 to 8 (consec) SK 3447 NE 1/42 II 2. Late C18/early C19. A terrace of 3 storey coursed stone houses with tiled roofs. Generally one window each, but Nos 6 and 8 have a small additional 2nd floor window. Sashes and casements, some modern glazing in original window spaces. Stone flagged footpath in front of small gardens. Houses situated at end of small lane leading from Belper Lane.
