Full Description

This stone township boundary marker between Cromford and Wirksworth is located at the junction between Oakerthorpe Road and Brickfields Close, on the high ground between the Derwent and Ecclesbourne valleys. It is triangular in shape with a chamfered top, painted white with the freehand lettering picked out in black. It has 'Cromford' on the lefthand (northern) side, 'Wirksworth' on the righthand (Southern) side and 'Townships' across the top. (1, 2)
