Full Description

Single-storey early 20th century barn with sloping roof located towards the start of the track to Moor Farm, just south of Middleton Top and The High Peak Trail, surveyed as part of the DerwentWISE Field Barn Project in March 2016. The barn is an extension of a stone barn with a ridged roof [MDR16537], and forms part of a row of four buildings, the others being built of corrugated iron. The barn is built of irregular stone and is in fair overall condition, and is in current agricultural use. There is a stone water trough at the end of the south-west elevation.
