Full Description

A two-storey field barn dating to at least the late 19th century, in poor overall condition, with a sagging roof and wide cracks in the limestone walls in which vegetation is growing. There is a central door and taking-in door/window in the east elevation and a small head-high window in the north elevation. The barn was surveyed in May 2016 as part of the DerwentWISE Field Barn Project. See survey report for further details. (1) The barn is visible on the first edition 25"OS Map of c. 1880. (2)
