Full Description

Shallcross Manor, RB Beehive quern, top stone. The upper stone of a beehive gritstone quern was ploughed up at Shallcross Farm in the 1970s, and was retained at the farm. (1) Two alternative findspots are given, but it is assumed that both relate to the same find rather than to two separate finds.
