Full Description

SK 022 763: Nook Farm, Earthwork (AP mark): A cropmark of a rectangular earthwork was recorded from aerial photography, in Hartington Upper Quarter parish. (1). Rectangular enclosure located in the field immediately east of Nook farm. (3). The demolished remains of four buildings, comprising bases of walls surrounded by rubble, in a tight rectangular arrangement, with associated yards. The farm is marked on Burdett's 1767 county map. However, its original may be substantially earlier than this date. (4). See SMR 7104.
