Full Description

SK 124 756: Hargatewall, settlement. Slight remains of a linear bank and possible enclosures, best seen in a low light from Wheston. Possibly Romano-British in date. (1). Hargate Wall Romano-British field system. Features include unclear boundaries, lynchets, earthen banks, stone banks and rectilinear enclosures. The date is based on the Romano-British pottery finds associated with the features. (2).
