Full Description

SK 1927 7893: A leaf-shaped arrowhead was found on July 5 1955 by Mr W Redfearn of Edge Moor Farm, Abney Grange when pulling up turnips. Length 33mm, maximum width 17mm. It is in the possession of the finder. (1, 2) Mr. Redfearn has three arrowheads, all found about 1955; one, as described above, from approx. SK 1927 7893; a broken leaf-shaped example- precise findspot unknown, and a barbed and tanged arrowhead from approximately SK 1921 7858. (3)
