Full Description

[SK 16337516] CROSS. (2). In the village of Litton there are the square steps of an ancient cross with a modern pillar. (1). The cross base is now a grade II listed building. (4). Grade II listed cross, 19th century in date, though the base may be earlier. Constructed of gritstone ashlar on a square plan. The base is set on four stone steps, surmounted by an obelisk. (6).
