Full Description

SK 183 768 : SILLY DALE, MACE HEAD. A cushion head mace head, dating from the Bronze Age, with an hour-glass perforation was found some years ago [c.1964] in Silly Dale by Mr Harry Eaton, High Street, Stoney Middleton, in whose possession it remains. (1). Dimensions: Length is 5 inches and breadth is 2.9 inches. (1,2)
