Burghwash farmhouse and outbuilding, Stretfield Road, Hope, built in 1838.
'Burghwash Farm, Hope. Extant 19th century farmstead. The farmstead is of a linear plan with one side of the yard formed of agricultural buildings and additional detached elements to the main plan. The farmhouse is attached to the agricultural range. The site is located within or in association to a hamlet. with one or more of the structural elements dating to the 19th century All the traditional buildings remain extant.' (1-4)

'SK 18 SE PARISH OF HOPE STRETFIELD ROAD 7/87 (North Side) Burghwash Farmhouse and attached outbuilding II
Farmhouse and outbuildings. Dated 1838. Rubble limestone, mostly rendered, with gritstone dressings. Welsh slate roof with stone ridge stack and stone gable end stack. Two storeys with angle quoins. South elevation with three bay house to the left and outbuildings to the right. The house part has a central doorway with flush stone surrounds and C19 panelled door, flanked on each side by glazing bar sashes with flush stone surrounds. Three similar windows above. Outbuildings with two doorways of differing heights with flush stone surrounds, flanking a tall carriage arch with segmental arch with dated keystone. Plank doors.
