Nether Cottage, Shatton Lane, Brough and Shatton, a mid 18th century building.
Nether Cottage, Brough and Shatton. Extant 18th century farmstead. The farmstead is formed of a loose courtyard with four sides of the yard formed of agricultural buildings. The farmhouse is set away from the yard. The site is located within a loose farmstead cluster. All the traditional buildings remain extant. (1-4)

'SK 18 SE PARISH OF BROUGH AND SHATTON SHATTON LANE 7/14 (East Side) Nether Cottage II
Cottage. Mid-C18. Rubble gritstone with gritstone dressings and quoins. Stone slate roof with stone coped gables. One stone ridge stack and one gable end stack. Two storeys. South elevation has central doorway with chamfered stone surround and C20 half glazed door. To the left, a single light window with flush stone surround and to the right a 2-light square section flush mullion window. First floor with two 2-light square section flush mullion windows.
