Shepherd's Flat Farm farmhouse, Eyam Road, Eyam, an early 19th century building. 'Shepherd's Flat Farm, Eyam. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. The farmstead is formed of a loose courtyard with two sides of the yard formed of agricultural buildings and additional detached elements to the main plan. The farmhouse is set away from the yard. The site is in an isolated location. Large modern sheds have been identified on the site, and may have destroyed or obscured historic buildings. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings.' (1-4) From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 27 NW PARISH OF EYAM EYAM ROAD 4/49 (North Side) 12-7-67 Shepherd's Flat Farmhouse II Farmhouse. Early C19. Rendered stone. Gritstone dressings and raised quoins. Ground and first floor cill bands. Plinth. Moulded eaves cornice. Hipped stone slate roof with lead flashings. Stone side wall stacks. Two storeys, three bays. Central semi-circular headed doorcases with stepped jambs, fluted imposts and brackets, and moulded hood above. Flush panelled door with traceried fanlight over. To either side, glazing bar sashes in raised surrounds. Three similar over. Listing NGR: SK2010777404.' (5)
