Outrake Farm farmhouse, off Coombs Road, Bakewell, a mid-18th century building. 'Outrake, Bakewell. Partially extant 18th century outfarm. The outfarm is formed of a loose courtyard with two sides of the yard formed of agricultural buildings and additional detached elements to the main plan. The farmhouse is set away from the yard. The site is in an isolated location. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings.' (1-4) From the National Heritage List for England: 'BAKEWELL SK2268 COOMBS ROAD 831-1/5/85 (North East side) 20/05/74 Outrake Cottage (Formerly Listed as: COOMBS ROAD (North East side) The Outrake (Mr Hicks)) II Farmhouse. Mid C18. Coursed, squared sandstone with rubble to rear; stone slate roof. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 3-window range. Bays 2 and 3 project slightly and have large quoins. Part-glazed door in C20 wooden porch. Window to right of porch and all those to first floor have 4-pane wooden casements in original 2-light, square-faced mullioned surrounds. The lower part of bay one is of limestone rubble with a 4-pane casement; square-sectioned downpipe with large cast-iron hopper in angle to right. Stone end stack on left and blue brick end stack to right. INTERIOR: not inspected. Listing NGR: SK2239268697.' (5)
