Full Description

Extant 19th century farmstead. The farmstead is formed of a regular courtyard with multiple yards. The farmhouse was attached to the agricultural range, but is no longer extant. The site is in an isolated location. (1) (2) (3) (4) The farmstead appears to sit astride the boundary of the early C17th estate of William Cavendish. A notable feature of the farm buildings are the apotropivc marks, to ward off evil. (5)
