Full Description

Neolithic objects from Tunstead Quarry in Buxton Museum: a flint chisel on a blade, flaked with some polishing around the head (3), a polished stone axe found 1942, in TUFF (2,6), small polished stone axe, group VI medium (2,4) fragment of a fine-grained volcanic rock polished axe, reportedly from Great Rocks Dale Quarry - no further information available. (1,4,5).
