Gratton Dale Farm farmhouse, Gratton Lane, Elton, a 19th century building. 'Gratton dale, Elton. Extant 19th century farmstead. The farmstead is of a row plan. The farmhouse is set away from the yard. The site is located within or in association to a hamlet. All the traditional buildings remain extant.' (1-4) From the National Heritage List for Englnad: 'SW 26 SW PARISH OF ELTON GRATTON LANE 2/15 (South West Side) Farmhouse south of Dale End Farmhouse II Farmhouse. Early C19. Regularly coursed gritstone, with coped gables, ashlar end ridge stacks, plain tiled roof. Irregular double pile wing to rear. Two storeys, two bays, with glazing bar sashes set into flush stone surrounds. Central doorway with quoined surround. Listing NGR: SK2115461346.' (5)
