Woodside Farm farmhouse, Whitfield Lane, Middleton and Smerrill, a 19th century building.
'Hollow Meadow Farm, Middleton and Smerrill. Extant 19th century farmstead. The farmstead is formed of a loose courtyard with one side of the yard formed of agricultural buildings. The farmhouse is set away from the yard. The site is in an isolated location. All the traditional buildings remain extant.' (1-4)

'SK 16 SE PARISH OF MIDDLETON AND SMERRILL 1/59 WHITFIELD LANE (Off) (South East Side) Hollow Meadow Farmhouse II
Farmhouse. Early C19. Rubble limestone with gritstone dressings, quoins, plain gables, central ridge stack and stone slate roof. Two storeys, two bay with single floor 2-light chamfer mullioned casements with plain doorway with half glazed door. Above two single light openings with chamfered stone surrounds, all with Gothic glazing. C20 monopitch extension to north east.
