Holmedene Farm farmhouse, Moor Lane, Elton, a mid-18th century building.
'Holmedene, Elton. Partially extant 18th century farmstead. The farmstead is of a linear plan with two sides of the yard formed of agricultural buildings and additional detached elements to the main plan. The farmhouse is attached to the agricultural range. The site is located within or in association to a village. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings.' (1-4)

PARISH OF ELTON MOOR LANE SK 26 SW 5/18 (West side) Holmedene Farmhouse (Formerly listed as House 15 yards south of Duke of York Inn) II Farmhouse. Circa 1750. Regularly-coursed gritstone, rusticated quoins, coved eaves, plain coped gables with moulded kneelers, gable end and intermediate ridge stacks and stone slated roof. Two storeys with attics, three bays with plain bands linking heads of windows, which are generally two light openings with mullions and surrounds projecting slightly beyond face of stonework. Attic openings are single lights, and all windows are four-paned casements. Blind occulus at first floor level at south end. Off-centre doorway with segmental pediment and C20 plank door.
