Full Description

Two kilns, side-by-side, draw tunnel visible with squared lintel. Furnace chamber partially rubble filled and overgrown. (1,2). A limekiln is recorded at this site on the 1st edition OS map as an 'Old Limekiln', suggesting it had fallen into disuse by 1880. (3).
