Full Description

Bent Farm, Tissington and Lea Hall. Partially extant 17th century farmstead. The farmstead is formed of a loose courtyard with two sides of the yard formed of agricultural buildings and additional detached elements to the main plan. There are tertiary elements to the main plan, incorporating a linear arrangement of agricultural buildings. The farmhouse is attached to the agricultural range. The site is in an isolated location. with one or more of the structural elements dating to the 19th century Large modern sheds have been identified on the site, and may have destroyed or obscured historic buildings. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. (1) (2) (3) (4)
