Full Description

SK 1780 7290: Hay Top, Dubious Barrow: Dimensions: diameter is 18m (60ft), height is 0.3m (1ft). Possible remains of a large barrow, recorded by L. Cooper. (1). The only feature at this location is a low natural knoll, on a moderate slope, of the approximate size given in source (1). It is very unlikely to be a barrow. (2). The present survey did not identify a barrow at this location at which there are a number of naural hummocks and rock outcrops. There is a highly visible burial barrow to the east (SMR 9307). (3).
