SK 09 79: Dove Holes, Stone Axe: A stone axe-head found in or before 1969 from Dove Holes, thought to be of Neolithic date and measuring 19cm in length, is held at Bolton Museum. (1,2). Point has been removed from the map, as the location of the findspot is unknown. (3).
