Sparkbottom Farm farmhouse, Woodside Farm Lane, Chapel en le Frith, an early 19th century building. 'Sparkbottom, Chapel-en-le-Frith. Extant 19th century farmstead. The farmstead is formed of a loose courtyard with one side of the yard formed of agricultural buildings and additional detached elements to the main plan. The farmhouse is detached with gable on to the yard. The site is in an isolated location. All the traditional buildings remain extant.' (1-4) From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 08 SW TOWN OF CHAPEL-EN-LE-FRITH WOODSIDE FARM LANE 3/69 (West Side) Sparkbottom Farmhouse II Farmhouse. Early C19. Coursed gritstone with pointed dressings. Slate roof with stone ridge and bracketed eaves. Stone gable end stacks. Two storeys, three bays, double fronted elevation. Flush doorcase with bracketed stone hood. Glazed and panelled door. To either side, glazing bar sashes with wide lintels over. Three similar windows above. Flush mullion windows to rear. Listing NGR: SK0334180352.' (5)
