Full Description

An open cut, like a large plough furrow not of a dirtlow type. Extensive workings in the past. (1) Mootlow Vein (east) has been included in an updated inventory of important lead mining sites in the Peak District, it has ecological interest at largely reworked/remaoved hillocks. (2)
