Full Description

Hawthorne Farm (Ark Farm), Buxton. Partially extant 17th century farmstead. The farmstead was formed of a loose courtyard with one side of the yard formed of agricultural buildings and additional detached elements to the main plan. The farmhouse was set away from the yard. The site was located within or in association to a village. The farmhouse is the only surviving traditional structure. (1) (2) (3) (4)
