Full Description

SK 123 875: Nether Tor, Beads: About forty amber beads were found under a large flat stone near the top of Nether Tor, near Grimesbrook-in-Edale in April, 1778. "They were of various colours and sizes - green, blue, others striped and variegated; some were so very large that one might have put one's thumb into the hole." Most of them were sent to Cambridge.
