Full Description

The topstone of a gritstone beehive rotary quern was found in a wall at Nether Booth in approximately 1950. Dimensions: Diam.= 290mm (11.5in); Height = 190mm (7.5in). The central depression is 140mm (5.5in) diameter, the central hole 25mm (1in) diameter and the handle hole in the side is also 25mm (1in) in diameter. (1) The artefact is in private hands. (2)
