Griffe Walk Farm farmhouse, off Wirksworth Road, Brassington, a late 18th or early 19th century building. 'Griffe Walk Farm, Brassington. Partially extant 18th century farmstead. The farmstead is of a dispersed plan with multiple yards. The site is in an isolated location. Large modern sheds have been identified on the site, and may have destroyed or obscured historic buildings. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings.' (1-4) From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK25 NW BRASSINGTON WIRKSWORTH ROAD 1/53 (North Side) Griffe Walk Farmhouse II Farmhouse. Late C18/early C19. Rendered stone. Painted flush stone dressings. Graduated slate roof with stone ridge. Two rendered gable end stacks and one central brick stack. Two storey, three bay front. Three 2-light flush mullion windows with off-centre door. Three similar windows above and small single light stair window over door, All C20 casements. Single bay addition to west with two windows. Listing NGR: SK2434156055.' (5)
