Full Description

SK: 1829 8633: Rough Ward, Roman pottery: [SK 1829 8633] Between the Snake Road and Ladybower Reservoir, 100x west of the bend in the road south of Rough Wood, were found 3 pieces of Derbyshire ware, including a lid rim, and a single fragment of a second pot. Found 7.3.64. by A.H. Henderson and in his possession. (1) Mr. Henderson was not contacted. I made no finds in the area of the siting symbol. (2) Finds presumably now in Sheffield City Museum. (5)
