Full Description

SK: 195 891 (= SK 198 910): Derwent Edge, Microliths and flint flakes: Microliths and three flint flakes found under peat on Derwent Edge. Artefacts found between 1000 and 1700ft.O.D. belong almost exclusively to the Azilio - Tardenoisian culture and are scattered, most plentifully on Derwent Edge (1) Derwent Edge, a mile long ridge of outcrop rock, was perambulated; only one flint flake was found at approximately SK 196895. (2)
