Full Description

SK 1262 8258: Oxlow Cross: 'Oxlow cross' [and cross symbol]. (1) No cross could be located in the area indicated during a site visit in 1965. (2) In 1639 the cross was shown to be in this general location. The cross has been since removed and its present whereabouts is unknown. It is feasible that the monument has been reused as a building component or a gatepost. (4)
