Full Description

Evidence for a pit or hollow , possibly medieval to Post-medieval, has been identified north east of Matlock Bath Station, Starkholmes during the high-resolution Lidar survey undertaken in the winter of 2015/2016 by Bluesky. The survey was commissioned by Trent and Peak Archaeology on behalf of DerwentWISE Project. The feature is located in an area surrounded by medieval ridge and furrow. (2)
